Care logs (e.g., worming, trimming, vet visits, hay usage)
Optional contact information for service providers (e.g., vet, farrier, dentist)
This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.
b. Automatically Collected Information
The App may collect limited technical data automatically to improve performance, including:
Device type and operating system version
App version and crash diagnostics
This information is anonymous and does not identify you personally.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
Enable core functionality of the App (e.g., tracking horse care records, sending reminders)
Improve app performance and user experience
Provide optional notifications you enable
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

All personal data entered into Horse Care Log is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to your information.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data on-device. However, as with any digital product, no method of storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and backups.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not collect or share personal data with advertisers or analytics services.
If you choose to back up your device (e.g., via iCloud), your app data may be included in that backup and subject to Apple’s privacy policy.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Because your data stays on your device, you are in full control of it. You can:
View, edit, or delete any information directly within the App
Delete the App to remove all data from your device
We do not store any copies on external servers, so once deleted from your device, the data cannot be recovered.
6. Children’s Privacy
Horse Care Log is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the App and the “Effective Date” above will be updated. Your continued use of the App after such changes means you accept the updated policy.
